The range demonstrates CMP’s extensive experience of flameproof cable gland design and manufacture, with state of the art features and innovative design.

CMP Cable Glands

CMP Cable Gland options for all types of cables are available in a wide range of sizes and are supplied in a variety of thread forms. Cable glands are available in various materials including Brass, Electroless Nickel Plated Brass, Aluminum and Stainless Steel. Significantly the brass grade used in the production of all CMP brass Cable Glands is CuZn39Pb3 (CW614N) to BS EN 12164:2011 / BS EN 12168:2011.

International Approvals are held including ATEX, IECEx, INMETRO, CSA, UL, NEPSI, CIDET, CCOE/PESO as well as Russian Trade Union certificates. In addition, Marine Classification Society Approvals from Lloyds, DNV, and ABS are also held.

CMP’s range of flameproof and explosion-proof cable glands has multiple-certification, allowing customers to select one gland to cover a multitude of situations including ATEX, IECEx, cCSAus and UL.

Cable Glands for Industrial & Explosive Atmospheres

CMP designs and manufactures electrical armoured and unarmored cable glands for use in industrial & explosive atmospheres.

With a wide variety of electrical cable glands available to suit IEC, NEC and CEC wiring codes, products can be used within a large number of applications – including oil and gas, petrochemical, construction, pharmaceutical, transportation and mining to name a few.

Electrical cable glands can be used with a range of cable types, including armoured and unarmoured and are available in brass, nickel plated brass and stainless steel.

Given the level of experience that we have in this field, CMP is able to offer a high degree of technical support and advice in this area.

Armoured & Unarmoured Cable Glands: For Industrial & General Purpose Applications

At CMP Products, our range of industrial cable glands are available for a wide range of armoured and unarmoured cable types.

Available in multiple dimensions, thread forms and materials; CMP industrial cable glands conform to the latest international standards — including EN 62444, IEC 62444 and the more rigorous BS6121:Part 1:1989.

Our industrial armoured and unarmoured cable glands are manufactured to the highest quality under a third-party approved quality management system conforming to ISO 9001:2015. Cable Glands: Mining

CMP Products has designed a unique range of cable glands specifically suited to the mining environment and accommodating all forms of cables used in underground (Group I) locations, surface mining (Group II) and general industrial scenarios.

The Group I range of cable glands provides the choice of using either a threaded entry cable gland or a flange-mounted version; both being suitable for direct entry into the equipment. Adapters are also available for converting one type to the other.

Barrier cable glands are available in this range, to form a compound barrier seal on non-filled cables, as well as an environmental seal on the cable outer-sheath.
